Terms and Conditions For MAF GAS Supply Contract
Safety and Liability
The Company adheres to safety guidelines set by Dubai Civil Defense and other regulatory bodies.
The Customer shall not bypass safety devices or tamper with gas infrastructure.
The Company is not liable for damages resulting from negligence, misuse, or third-party interference.
Bills & Payments
Bills are issued monthly based on meter readings or fixed rates, depending on the gas system installed.
Payment is due within 7 days from the invoice date.
Late payments may result in service disconnection and/or late fees.
Billing disputes must be reported in writing within 7 working days of receiving the invoice.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with a 30-day written notice.
A final meter reading will be taken, and any outstanding charges must be settled.
Security deposit refund is subject to final clearance and return of Company equipment.
Force Majeure
The Company shall not be held liable for failure to provide service due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, supply interruptions, regulatory actions, or civil emergencies.
Dispute Resolution
All efforts will be made to resolve disputes amicably.
Unresolved disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the regulations applicable in the Emirate of Dubai.
Acknowledgment
By signing below, the Customer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions.
Customer Documentation:
The tenant must provide the EID copy, Passport copy & Tenancy contract copy before LPG connection or activation.
All required documents must be submitted through the company’s online portal.
Security Deposit & Refund:
A refundable security deposit is required prior to LPG connection as per the agreed terms.
The deposit will be refunded only upon submission of the original contract and Emirates ID copy of the tenant.
Refund will be given only to the authorized person who signed the contract; ten working days needed for the refund process.
Refunds will be processed after deduction of any outstanding dues or charges.
Refund claims must be submitted within six months after contract termination.
Installation & Maintenance:
All installation, connection, disconnection, and maintenance service works must be carried out only by MAF FIRE Middle East-approved technicians. The company is not liable for any misuse or unauthorized handling of the system.
The tenant is responsible for the cost of any services like repair or replacement of spare parts during the contract period.
Gas Leakage or Emergency:
In case of any gas leak or system malfunction, the tenant must immediately contact MAF FIRE MIDDLE EAST’s emergency hotline and evacuate the premises if required.
Turn off the LPG supply using the emergency switch.
Inform the Building Management and Civil Defense immediately.
The company will not be responsible for any damage or loss resulting from the tenant’s delay or failure to report a gas leak.
Billing & Charges:
LPG consumption will be billed monthly based on the actual meter reading, inclusive of 5% VAT.
LPG rates are subject to change based on market conditions.
In addition to consumption charges, a monthly administrative fee shall apply and is compulsory for all active accounts. If unpaid, it will be added to the next month’s bill.
Tenants must allow access for authorized gas meter readers to take meter readings. Failure to provide access may result in a penalty.
Disconnection and Vacating:
Tenants intending to vacate the premises or discontinue service must submit a disconnection request at least ten days in advance.
A clearance certificate must be obtained from the company upon vacating.
A disconnection fee will apply and must be settled prior to processing or will be deducted in deposit.
Liability and Compensation:
The tenant agrees that the company shall not be required to provide any compensation for damages resulting from the tenant’s actions, misuse, or negligence.
The tenant further agrees not to make or pursue any claims against the company in respect of such losses or damages.
If the tenant has home insurance, a copy of the policy should be provided to the company.
